The 1961 Patsy Award winner owned and trained by Ralph McCutcheon

Cotton was the first horse to be flown to Hawaii to make a motion picture. That movie was called Diamond Head starring Charlton Heston.
King Cotton, Fury and California "Cali" are buried side by side at the former Rancho Maria - Ralph McCutcheon ranch in Sand Canyon area of Saugus, California. (Santa Clarita).
